Vision

Leadership in teaching, training and scientific research in the field of family and community medicine, and contributing to the promotion of health in society through health education, health care delivery and scientific research.

Mission

Promote advanced standards in the fields of medical education, health care, research and community health services. This is by encouraging the concept of family and community medicine and graduating doctors who have knowledge and skills in preparing, providing and evaluating health care (promotional, preventive, curative and rehabilitative) and working as a team to reduce morbidity and mortality in the community.

Objectives

1. Prepare a community-oriented physician capable of meeting and responding to community health needs within primary health care settings

2. To develop a graduate who will assume a leadership role with other healthcare members in educating, motivating, supervising and leading them in the field of health promotion, disease prevention and control.

3. Searching for more experience through continuous self-learning and applying simple statistical methods to analyze and understand medical and social research in any chosen field of health sciences.

4. Development of self- learning skills, lifelong learning and leadership skills

5. Providing an appropriate environment to conducting research that is meaningful and relevant to meeting local and international needs

6. Continuity of communication with local, national and international institutions to enhance and exchange knowledge, skills and experiences
