Word Of the Head Department of Arabic Language



    The Department of Arabic Language is one of the oldest and most prestigious departments at the University of Tripoli. It was established in the Teachers College in 1965 AD. It is now one of the departments of the College of Languages. It grants a bachelor’s degree – master’s degree – doctorate. It is among the few departments in the university that grants a doctorate and teaches general Arabic in various colleges University, where elite scholars taught and serious students graduated who benefited from the Arabic language in various Libyan and Arab universities.

Objectives

    The Department of Arabic Language at the College of Languages aims to graduate specialists in the Arabic language and its literature, by granting a specialized bachelor’s degree in Arabic language and literature in the undergraduate studies section, and in the postgraduate studies section, it grants the higher bachelor’s degrees “Master’s” and the minute “PhD” in the two divisions of Linguistics And literature since its establishment in 1977 AD when the department was affiliated with the College of Education to contribute to the provision of university professors and researchers.
